About the role
Lead thermal architecture and analysis for Vast's lunar surface elements including habitat and power station. Develop thermal control systems to survive lunar diurnal cycles.
What you’ll do
• Define thermal control architecture for lunar surface elements. • Size and place radiators for lunar environment. • Own survival thermal case through lunar night. • Build and maintain detailed system thermal models. • Plan and execute TVAC and thermal balance test campaigns.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related. • 6+ years spacecraft or aerospace thermal engineering. • Experience with spacecraft thermal control design and analysis. • Familiar with thermal coatings, MLI, radiators, heat pipes. • Work authorization for US employment.
