About the role
Build and maintain a data platform for public transport fare payments. Develop services to ingest, process, and query data using modern lakehouse technologies.
What you’ll do
• Build services ingesting Kafka topics into Apache Iceberg tables. • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code. • Work on data contracts and schema evolution rules. • Implement privacy, retention, and access control features. • Build query layer and migrate dashboards to new platform.
What you’ll bring
• Solid software engineering fundamentals. • Daily use of AI coding tools with careful output checking. • Good SQL and data pipeline experience. • Clear communication in English. • Work authorization for Romania.
