About the role
Lead engineering efforts to build and maintain Zyte's cross-platform Rust peer runtime on Windows, Android, Linux, and macOS. Expand and optimize the Edge platform for mobile devices to improve web data extraction capabilities.
What you’ll do
• Build and maintain Rust peer runtime across multiple platforms. • Port peer runtime to Android handling mobile network quirks. • Integrate Chromium network stack and HTTP clients via FFI. • Gather hardware and OS data to improve fingerprinting. • Develop metrics for device fleet performance and reliability.
What you’ll bring
• 5+ years production Rust experience. • Cross-platform Rust expertise including mobile platforms. • Skilled in Rust FFI with C/C++ and OS APIs. • Deep knowledge of TCP, TLS, HTTP protocols. • Work authorization for remote role in Pakistan.
