About the role
Interns work on autonomy software for Zoox robotaxis, developing perception, planning, and control systems. They contribute to real projects with mentorship and gain hands-on experience in autonomous driving technology.
What you’ll do
• Work on research or engineering problems in autonomy software. • Design and evaluate algorithms or machine learning models. • Train and test models on driving and simulation data. • Write production-quality C++ and Python code. • Present results and contribute to research publications.
What you’ll bring
• Enrolled in M.S. or Ph.D. in CS, robotics, or related. • Graduate between Fall 2027 and Summer 2028. • Commit to full-time 12-week internship May/June 2027. • Relocate to Bay Area, California for internship. • Work authorization for internship in US.
