About the role
The Sr. Security Engineer protects SpaceX systems by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities. The role involves developing security tools, triaging bug reports, and conducting threat hunting and team exercises.
What you’ll do
• Develop tools and processes to ease security adoption. • Conduct software code reviews for insecure patterns. • Perform web application security testing. • Triage Bugcrowd reports and coordinate remediation. • Conduct Purple and Red Team exercises and threat hunting.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or 2+ years experience with diploma. • 5+ years operating on-premises Kubernetes. • 5+ years Linux system administration and Python/Go scripting. • Must be onsite and have valid driver's license. • U.S. citizenship or eligible for ITAR authorization.
