About the role
Lead the architecture and technical direction of the Android connectivity software linking WHOOP hardware to the app. Ensure high performance and reliability across devices and collaborate cross-functionally.
What you’ll do
• Own Android connectivity architecture end to-end. • Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams. • Manage communication protocols and Bluetooth stack. • Improve connection reliability across Android devices. • Mentor engineers and participate in incident management.
What you’ll bring
• Experience with consumer-facing BLE apps. • Proven architectural influence beyond own team. • Expertise in Kotlin coroutines and multithreading. • Strong Android app development and debugging skills. • Work authorization for US employment.
