About the role
Design and prototype technical defenses to protect Stripe's financial ecosystem from abuse. Rapidly build and experiment with safeguards to mitigate emerging threats while balancing user conversion.
What you’ll do
• Design and deploy technical controls for abuse vectors. • Translate attacker evidence into control specifications. • Collaborate with teams to design secure controls. • Run experiments to measure risk reduction and user impact. • Build regression tests and manage control handoffs.
What you’ll bring
• 10+ years in security or software engineering. • Bachelor's or master's in CS or related field. • Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or similar. • Experience with API safeguards and rate limiting. • Work authorization for Germany.
