About the role
Design and prototype technical defenses to protect Stripe's financial ecosystem from abuse. Rapidly build and test safeguards to prevent exploitation of vulnerabilities at scale.
What you’ll do
• Design and deploy technical controls for abuse vectors. • Translate attacker evidence into control specifications. • Collaborate with teams to design secure controls. • Run experiments to balance risk and user conversion. • Build regression tests to prevent recurring abuse.
What you’ll bring
• 10+ years in security or software engineering. • Bachelor's or master's in CS or related field. • Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or similar. • Experience with API safeguards and rate-limiting. • Work authorization for location.
