About the role
Lead the technical development of CAS perception algorithms for autonomous vehicle safety. Own architecture and roadmap for real-time deployment on Zoox's fleet.
What you’ll do
• Lead CAS perception technical architecture and roadmap. • Design and implement ML and classical perception algorithms. • Ensure safety, performance, and latency trade-offs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system interfaces. • Mentor engineers and raise technical standards.
What you’ll bring
• BS, MS, or PhD in CS, EE, Robotics or related. • 10+ years in perception or real-time systems. • Expertise in 3D perception from lidar, radar, camera. • Strong C++ or Python skills with production experience. • Experience leading architecture of complex systems. • Work authorization for the US.
