About the role
Lead the technical direction of the Assessment Experience backend team to transform how customers use NodeZero for security. Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and workflows to improve penetration testing outcomes.
What you’ll do
• Own technical direction for backend systems from concept to evolution. • Design scalable backend services, APIs, and event-driven workflows. • Lead architectural decisions balancing velocity and reliability. • Translate product goals into technical strategy and execution. • Mentor engineers and support hiring efforts.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS or related field. • 8+ years professional software engineering experience. • Experience with backend services in Python, Go, Rust, or TypeScript. • Strong SQL skills with complex queries and schema design. • Work authorization for US.
