About the role
Lead the technical direction for GitLab's static analysis engine to find security issues in code. Mentor engineers and drive AI-assisted tooling development for security scanning.
What you’ll do
• Lead highest-scope initiatives from design to delivery. • Set technical direction for AI-assisted tooling and static analysis engine. • Own architecture of program model and pipeline. • Mentor engineers and improve internal standards. • Participate in on-call rotations for troubleshooting.
What you’ll bring
• Experience building LLM tooling with trust judgment. • Proficient in Rust, Go, or similar systems language. • Background in program and static analysis. • Deep application security experience. • Work authorization for listed countries.
