About the role
Join WHOOP as a Staff Software Engineer to architect and optimize backend systems for internal business operations. Drive scalable, reliable solutions supporting supply chain, membership, and logistics functions.
What you’ll do
• Set technical direction and architecture for Business Systems. • Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations. • Design user experiences for backend systems. • Lead complex technical initiatives from discovery to rollout. • Mentor engineers and promote technical decision-making.
What you’ll bring
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • 8+ years backend software engineering experience. • Experience with complex business workflows and technical leadership. • Expertise in API design, databases, and enterprise integrations. • Proficiency in modern backend languages and cloud infrastructure.
