About the role
Operate and maintain complex machinery and equipment in a sewage treatment plant. Ensure safe, efficient, and proper functioning of plant operations.
What you’ll do
• Inspect plant machinery and equipment regularly. • Perform maintenance and repairs on pumping and heating systems. • Collect and analyze sewage and chemical samples. • Operate solids treatment and disinfection systems. • Train and supervise apprentices or trainees.
What you’ll bring
• Four years journey-level stationary engineer experience or equivalent. • Valid driver's license. • Grade I California Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Certificate. • Ability to obtain TSA security clearance. • Ability to obtain Customs Access Seal.
