About the role
Develop engineering design solutions for building projects considering context, budget, and aesthetics. Collaborate with disciplines and coordinate design through all project phases.
What you’ll do
• Design structural components integrating architectural design. • Evaluate design requirements and create construction drawings. • Perform calculations, code and material research. • Conduct site visits for new and existing buildings. • Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs during construction.
What you’ll bring
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural design software. • Knowledge of building structural systems and codes. • Completed related post-secondary education. • Registered with relevant professional engineering association. • 7-10 years project work experience in structural engineering.
