About the role
Join Shield AI as a Supplier Development Engineer intern focusing on machined parts. Improve supplier performance, quality, and delivery for aerospace manufacturing.
What you’ll do
• Audit and improve supplier processes for cost, lead-time, quality. • Conduct on-site audits to resolve supplier quality issues. • Assess and enhance supplier capabilities. • Provide technical guidance on part specs and manufacturing. • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvements.
What you’ll bring
• Pursuing engineering degree, graduating Dec 2027 or Spring 2028. • Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, NX, CATIA). • Experience with Excel and data analysis. • Familiar with PLM or ERP systems. • Can read drawings and GD&T confidently. • Understand machining, welding, forming processes.
