About the role
The Technical Advisor strengthens subnational surveillance data use and decision science to improve epidemic intelligence and public health responses in Nigerian states. The role involves technical leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with state and national health teams.
What you’ll do
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for data use and decision science. • Engage stakeholders to prioritize information needs for public health. • Develop and deliver capacity-strengthening activities in epidemiological analysis. • Lead development of state-specific epidemiological information products. • Support use and enhancement of SITAware and 7-1-7 data systems.
What you’ll bring
• Master's degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field. • Minimum 8 years experience in public health data analytics or surveillance. • Proficiency in R for data analysis and visualization. • Experience mentoring public health professionals. • Work authorization to work in Nigeria.
