About the role
Review and underwrite first and second mortgages from correspondent lenders within approval authority. Ensure compliance with FNMA and internal guidelines remotely across the US.
What you’ll do
• Review and underwrite closed loan packages for compliance. • Validate income, assets, credit and collateral documentation. • Evaluate loan packages for completeness and consistency. • Communicate with correspondent sellers on loan decisions. • Maintain knowledge of agency and investor guidelines.
What you’ll bring
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in finance or related field. • Minimum four years related experience in financial institution. • Experience with Encompass mortgage loan origination system. • Comply with SAFE Act requirements for Mortgage Loan Originators. • US work authorization required, no sponsorship provided.
